WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- A construction crew hit a sprinkler Tuesday morning at Reagan National, causing a flood in a store under renovation in the airport.
According to a spokesman for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, water leaked in a utility space, knocking out some of the airport's phone lines.
Officials say the flooding happened at a store that was previously the PGA Tour store, which is being renovated to house the new Spanx store.
We're told there was no impact to passengers or airport operation. The water has been cleaned up and the phone lines are back in operation.
