BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA9) -- We're told that no one is injured after a Freon leak in Bethesda on Tuesday afternoon.
The Freon leak occurred in a building located at 6903 Rockledge Drive. When Montgomery County Fire and Rescue units arrived they found evidence of a significant Freon leak on the 15th floor of the building, which was being evacuated.
Hazmaz responded and detected traces of Freon on the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th floor, according to officials.
The leak is under control and all areas are in the process of being ventilated.
