1. Jonnie Williams takes the stand in the McDonnell trial

The prosecution's star witness in the federal corruption trial of former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell took the stand, saying he only gave the couple lavish gifts that they asked for. The defense is expected to deliver a strong cross questioning of Williams Thursday, attempting to destroy his credibility. MORE

2. Man found shot to death in Bowie

Prince George's County police say the body of an adult male was found in Bowie early Thursday morning. Police say the man was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene. MORE

3. 2 teens wounded in Hyattsville shooting, suspect sought

Hyattsville police are looking for three suspects who they say shot two teenagers and sent bullets into a home on Wednesday night. Police say one teen was shot in the right side and another was hit in the face, arm and multiple times in the upper torso. MORE

4. Police: Stabbing of transgender teen possible hate crime

Metro Transit Police say that the stabbing of a transgender teen on a Green Line train Wednesday may have been a hate crime. Police say witnesses reported that the suspect made bias-motivated remarks about the victim's transgender status right before stabbing her. MORE

5. Police: 3 teens rape 11 and 12-year-old girls in Va.

Prince William County police say three teenage boys raped two young girls in Woodbridge, Va. on Monday night. Two 17-year-old boys and one 16-year-old boy were arrested and charged. MORE
