RICHMOND, Va. (WUSA9) -- Prosecutors have shifted the focus of the McDonnell corruption trial to the expensive gifts that Jonnie Williams gave not only to the couple but also their children.
The couple arrived separately again Wednesday morning. While Bob McDonnell appeared very confident, Maureen seemed emotionally frail, keeping her head down with attorneys trying to block her from the cameras.
"Just expecting another good day," Bob McDonnell said entering the courthouse. "I have great faith in God and in the justice system and that sustains me everyday."

On the stand Wednesday, Jerri Fulkerson, executive assistant to Jonnie Williams, detailed the loans, $120,000 in total, and all of the gifts Williams gave to the McDonnells.
For her wedding gift, their daughter Jeanine received $10,000 and first class plane tickets for herself and a friend, plus a posh stay at a Florida Ritz-Carlton and use of Jonnie Williams's Range Rover.
That was the same weekend Williams flew Bob and Maureen McDonnell to Cape Cod. Two other daughters were flown by Williams to Savannah, Georgia for Jeanine's bachelorette party.
On the stand, Fulkerson said that former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, former Virginia Attorney General Jerry Kilgore, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Senator John McCain also used Jonnie Williams's plane for free. She said that Cuccinelli's mother-in-law also received free Antabloc from Williams.
Jerri Fulkerson wrote on one of the documents presented to the jury Wednesday "Jonnie will never turn the governor down if he can at all help it."
Jerri Fulkerson is still working for Jonnie Williams and Star Scientific is paying for her attorneys. The defense is questioning her before Williams is expected to take the stand.
