Three of the five new stations, Greensboro, Spring Hill and Tysons, have no onsite parking lots at all and the malls nearby will also be enforcing "no commuter" parking rules. There is a large Metro parking lot at the Wiehle-Reston station and the large Fairfax County lot in Herndon that has shuttle buses to the Metro.

The new Silver Line Express bus service between Dulles Airport and the Wiehle-Reston station started operation at noon on Saturday. Buses will run every 20 minutes each day, with 15-minute frequency during the weekday morning and afternoon rush. Bus fare will be $5 each way, payable with cash or credit card.
