WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- D.C. police say former Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis, who was wanted for a domestic violence incident, has turned himself in.

Davis is currently in custody and is due in court Thursday afternoon.

Police say Davis was involved in a domestic assault that happened on June 2 at a bar in the 2400 block of 18th Street, NW.
