Teen hit, killed by driver with learner's permit

Montgomery County police are investigating after a driver with a learner's permit hit and killed a 13-year-old girl who was watching a soccer game near Eastern Middle School in Silver Spring. Police say the driver lost control, hit a sign, a tree, and an adult female and the teen. MORE

Benghazi suspect due in D.C. court

Ahmed Abu Khattala, the first person to face prosecution in the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya, in which four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, were killed, is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing before a magistrate judge in U.S. District Court. MORE

Naked Arlington man due in court

A man accused of stripping naked in Goody's Pizza and leading police on a chase down the streets of Arlington during the All American Bar Crawl is due in court. Police say they has to Taser Charles Mack, who faces a slew of charges, including DWI and drug possession. MORE
