TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (WUSA9) -- Prince George's County police have arrested a man who they say shot two people outside a club in Maryland after an argument over a music competition.

Terrance Brawner of Temple Hills, Md. was arrested on a warrant for Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

On June 23, police say Brawner fired several shots in the parking lot of a club in the 6000 block of Branch Ave., hitting a male and female victim both in the lower body.

According to the warrant, the altercation stemmed from a verbal argument Brawner had with the male victim over a music competition the victim won.

The Metropolitan Police Department helped Prince George's County police find Brawner in the District at the intersection of First Street and O Street. Police say he was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

Brawner faces 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder, 2 counts of Attempt 2nd Degree Murder, 2 counts of Assault First Degree, 2 counts of Assault Second Degree, Firearm Use/ Felony Violent Crime, and Handgun on Person.
