4. Police find 2nd body while searching DC murder scene

D.C. police say they found a second body at a home in the Shaw neighborhood while investigating a homicide that happened just three days before. One person is in custody and has been charged with second degree murder for one death, but police are trying to figure out who is responsible for the second body. MORE

3. Charles Severance back in Leesburg court for hearing

A man wanted for questioning in the deaths of three Alexandria residents over the last decade is going back to a Loudoun County courtroom on an unrelated charge. Fifty-three-year-old Charles Severance is charged with illegally possessing firearms despite a felony record. MORE

2. President Obama to meet with Hill leaders on Iraq

President Obama is scheduled to meet with congressional leaders Wednesday about Iraq. CBS News is reporting that the President is going to make a case for sending a limited number of special forces troops into that country. Those troops would gather intelligence on the militants from the Islamic state of Iraq and Syria -- or ISIS. MORE
