FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Officials are looking for several suspects in connection to a shoplifting investigation at Weis Markets in Maryland.
Police say two shoplifting incidents happened at Weis Markets located on Spring Ridge Parkway. The first incident happened on May 19 around 2:30 p.m. when a store employee reported a "group of women seen on the store's video surveillance stuffing multiple bottles and cases of baby formula into their bags and then exited the store without paying for the items." During that incident the total amount of baby formula stolen was $726, officials said.
The second incident happened on May 20 around 6:27 p.m. when a store employee noticed the baby formula shelf was empty. In surveillance video, four black females and two black males (possibly teens) could be seen putting baby formula into their bags. They left the store without paying. The total amount in the second incident was $861, police said.
