WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Part of the I-95/395 HOV lanes will be closed May 16 until May 18 for construction work.
The HOV lanes will be closed at 11:00 p.m. on May 16 through May 18 and will reopen by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. The specific HOV lanes on I-95/395 will be from the D.C. line to Dumfries, just south of Exit 152 (Route 234), officials said.
Officials will be working on barrier placement, overhead sign structures, fiber optic lines that are needed for future tolling equipment, mill and paving the new lanes, and finishing bridge work.
