WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Suicide rates among teens are alarming. One Virginia county is working to provide help as fast and accessible as CPR.
Fairfax County is making three mental health first aid classes available to the public, with one for English speaking adults, one for English speaking children, and one for Spanish speaking adults.
The classes teach about common warning signs and risk factors for mental health problems and provides a five-step action plan and resources for helping someone in crisis.
