More than 70 vehicles were vandalized in Northern Arlington Sunday.
ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- Arlington County Police said more than 70 cars were vandalized Saturday overnight in North Arlington.
Police said windows had been shot out by BB gun-wielding vandals in neighborhoods north of I-66 and south of Lee Highway. Some of the neighborhoods included Waycroft-Woodlawn, Leeway Overlee and Westover.
Deputies arrested two men near the intersection of N. Lexington Street and 19th Street N. Police found two BB pistols and a .40 caliber handgun in the suspects' vehicle. Christopher Albrant, 20 and Antonio Lopez 19, both from Arlington were arrested and charged with seven counts of destruction of property.
Authorities said the number of charges is expected to go up as the investigation continues.
