GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Officials have arrested a suspect in connection to a bank robbery in Maryland on Thursday morning.

It happened on May 1 around 10:00 a.m. at the TD Bank located in the 7900 block of Crain Highway. The suspect, Gregory Paul Harring, 27 showed a note to the teller, implying that he had a weapon and demanded money. Harring was able to leave the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

Harring was arrested and charged on May 2 for 'Armed Robbery, Robbery, First and Second Degree Assault and Theft,' police said.

Police received a tip from Facebook which lead to the arrest.
