PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY (WUSA) -- Officials are investigating the death of a man who was being helped by officials after they found him under the influence of what appeared to be Phencyclidine (PCP).

The incident started at the 2800 block of Red Oak Lane when Police responded to a welfare call. When they arrived, they found a 32-year-old Calvin Kelly Lee staggering across the parking lot. Police tried to coordinate with paramedics to get him to a hospital. During the process, he became unresponsive.

Lee was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
