WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in Northeast DC on Monday.
According to police, 22-year-old Charles Melvin Parrish was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 5400 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating Parrish's death as a homicide. A medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
There is a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for this homicide.
