WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA9)--Saralee Boteler of Alexandria is being driven crazy with the potholes on 16th Street in Northwest DC.
"A dozen-plus deep potholes in southbound lanes of 16th Street....PLEASE help us [to] get through to DC to fix these."

Well Saralee, we drove that stretch of road. Heading south there were a lot of patches recently done by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT); however, heading north there were some humdingers. Plus we counted a whole lot more than a dozen just between Colorado Avenue and Oglethorpe.

WUSA9 reported the potholes to the District Department of Transportation. DDOT promises to fill potholes within 3 business days after receiving a complaint.
