HARWOOD, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police arrested three people Monday in connection with a hit and run and assault incident that happened at the Maryland Manor Mobile Home Park located in Harwood, Md.

Anne Arundel County police say they responded to a possible assault and hit and run around 3:06 p.m. in the 1500 block of Flanders Lane.

A woman, who was with her boyfriend Stephen Bassford, was in Lot G dropping off her child. The couple was dropping the child off to Steven Wilson Jr., who is the woman's estranged husband, police said.

Wilson and the woman got into an argument during the drop off, which turned into a physical fight, according to police. Bassford got out of the car with a baseball bat and hit Steven Wilson's brother, Matthew Wilson in the arm. Police said Matthew Wilson then got a two-by-four and hit Bassford in the arm.

Bassford and his girlfriend then got into their car and tried to leave the lot, police said. Matthew Wilson hit the car with the two-by-four and shattered the driver's side window, according to police.

When Bassford was driving off he hit two cars that were parked in the lot, a woman and Matthew Wilson, police said.

The woman was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center and has minor injuries, according to police.

Police said Bassford left the mobile home park and was with his girlfriend near the Maryland Manor Mobile Home Park.

The woman, 22 from Hughesville, who was with Bassford was taken to the Bowie Medical Center for treatment, police said. Domestic assault charges are pending against her, according to police.

Stephen Guy Bassford, 32 of the 15300 block of Sunset Dr., Hughesville, Md. was charged with first and second degree assault and traffic charges, according to police. Bassford was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for injuries related to the assault, police said.

Police said, Steven Chester Wilson, 25 of the 1500 block of Flanders Lane, Harwood, Md. was arrested for second degree domestic assault charges.

Matthew James Wilson, 22, of the 1500 block of Flanders Lane, Hardwood, Md. was arrested for first and second degree assault charges.
