BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA) -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a bank robbery incident in Maryland.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. at the HSBC bank located at 7637 Old Georgetown Road. The suspect went into the bank, showed the teller a note, and demanded money after implying that he had a weapon. He then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, officials said.
Officials describe the suspect as a black male, 30 to 40 years of age, 5'7" to 6'0" tall, weighing around 190 to 200 pounds, with facial hair. He was wearing a black jacket, brown wool cap, a dark-colored scarf, and sunglasses.
