FREDERICK COUNTY (WUSA) -- The Board of Education voted tonight to not use Presidents Day to make up for snow days, officials said.

Instead they voted to take back other days that were scheduled off. Those days are March 21 and April 14. The Board also voted to request a state waiver to allow Frederick County Public Schools to open school on Monday, April 21, which is Easter Monday.

They also voted that if further snow days are needed, schools will be in session for Tuesday, April 15, and Thursday, June 12.
