WOODBRIGDE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a Woodbridge man who is being accused of domestic related violence after cutting a man's finger with a pocket knife Saturday evening.
Prince William County Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance that happened at a home located in the 15200 block of Illinois Road.
Police said the victim, a 43-year-old man from Woodbrige reported he heard the suspect, Marvin Ernesto Macias Coronado, 24, arguing with a woman, who also lives at the house.
The altercation got physical after the victim tried to intervene, police said. Coronado, pulled out a pocket knife and cut the victim's finger, according to police.
Only minor injuries were reported, police added. Another resident of the home called the police.
Police said Coronado fled before the police got to the house.
Police obtained a warrant against Coronado. He is wanted for malicious wounding, police said.
Coronado is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs around 180 pounds and has a medium build. Police said he has short black hair, brown eyes, a beard and tattoos on both of his arms.
