GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Four people in connection with the disappearance and death of Kevin W. Quick appeared before a Goochland County judge Monday afternoon.
Anthony L. White, Leslie Hope Casterlow, Anthony D. Strokes Jr. and Gert A.L. Wright III were at the bond hearing, Goochland County Commonwealth's Attorney Claiborne Stokes said.
During the bond hearing, the charge of principal in the second degree against Casterlow, Stokes and Wright was each nolle prossed, according to Stokes.
Stokes clarified that this particular charge means the individuals were charged in connection with Quick's death, not for his death.
White, Casterlow, Stokes and Wright were all denied bond and are still at the Herico County Jail, authorities said. Each person is on one felony count of gang participation, authorities added.
Police said a date will be set for each individual's preliminary hearing on March 10, 2014 on the gang participation charge.
Their hearing took place before the judge via television from the Henrico County Jail, police said.
Police said they will not be releasing the cause of death at this time.
Police continue to ask the public to come forward with any information they have about Quick or anybody arrested in connection with the incident.
