GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WUSA9) -- Anne Arundel County police say heroin, a .22 caliber pen gun, and other items were found during the search of a hotel in Glen Burnie on Thursday night.
According to police, the Northern District's Tactical Patrol Unit and Tactical Narcotics Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 104 Chesapeake Ct Room 300 at 7 p.m. Thursday. An online search shows that is an Extended Stay America hotel.
Police say they seized drugs and other items including:
- 8.06 grams of heroin (approximate street value $970.00)
- 4.91 grams of marijuana (approximate street value $50.00)
- 1.09 grams of MDMA "Ecstasy" (approximate street value $100.00)
- CDS distribution paraphernalia (digital scales, packaging material)
- $1,470 in U.S. Currency
- a .22 caliber pen gun
Two people were also arrested after the search. Thirty-year-old Michael Vidal Hill, Jr. of Glen Burnie was charged with Possession of firearm during drug crime, CDS possession with intent to distribute (heroin), CDS possession (heroin), CDS possession (marijuana), CDS possession (MDMA) and two counts of Possession of CDS paraphernalia. Twenty-four-year-old Amber Tierra Jones of Severn was charged with CDS possession with intent to distribute (heroin), CDS possession (heroin), CDS possession (marijuana0 and two counts of Possession of CDS paraphernalia.
