LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WUSA9) -- As the search continues, the reward money for a missing Virginia police reservist has gone up again and is now at $40,000.
According to the Virginia State Police, Waynesboro area residents and businesses have pledged more reward money for information that could lead to the missing 45-year-old Kevin W. Quick of Rockfish, Virginia.
Police found his silver 1999 Toyota 4Runner was on Monday in Louisa County.
Investigators are trying to create a timeline of the SUV's travels since Quick left his mother's home in Afton at approximately 10:15 p.m. Friday. Police note that the area is "fairly remote and would require an individual to leave by another vehicle after leaving the 4Runner behind."
Police said Thursday's investigation will focus on additional tips that came in the past 24 hours.
If you have any tips and new leads, investigators are asking the public to call the Virginia State Police on a cell at #77 or at 434-352-7128.
