CHEVY CHASE, Md. (WUSA9) - Montgomery County police have released surveillance photographs of the suspect in a bank robbery from January 13th and are asking for the public's help in identifying him.

Police say they responded the the Bank of America located at 4411 South Park Avenue in Chevy Chase at 4:39 p.m. that day for the report of a bank robbery.

Officers learned that a man entered the bank and passed a note to the teller. The note demanded money and implied that the man had a weapon, according to police. The man fled with cash out of the bank.

The man was described as black, approximately 25 to 30 years old, and between 5'7? and 5'10? tall with a medium build. He had a band-aid on his right cheek, say police.
