COLUMBIA, Md. (WUSA9) -- The following is a timeline of the Columbia Mall shooting, established through mall surveillance video.
At 10:15 a.m., the shooter, identified as 19-year-old Darion Marcus Aguilar of College Park, was dropped off by a cab at the mall's upper level at the carousel entrance.
Surveillance video shows that Aguilar went downstairs and then back upstairs. According to the video, he had limited movement in the mall.
At 11:15 a.m., six to eight shots were fired, killing Brianna Benlolo, 21, of College Park, and Tyler Johnson, 25, of Mt. Airy, Md., inside of the Zumiez skate shop. Police say Aguilar then turned the gun on himself.
Saturday night, police conducted a search of the Aguilar's home in College Park.
Aguilar, who lived with his mother, purchased the 12 gauge Mossberg shotgun he used in the shooting in Montgomery County in December.
Twenty explosive detection teams searched the entire mall and crime scene investigation ended around 2 a.m. Sunday at the mall.
