ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Fairfax man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Friday after pleading guilty to producing child porn.

Thirty-two-year-old Adam Jacob Zottoli pleaded guilty on October 29, 2013 for producing child pornography involving a 13-year-old boy and another minor.

According to court documents, a 13-year-old boy told police that he had been sexually assaulted by Zottoli over the past three years and that Zottoli had photographed some of the incidents.

Fairfax County police say they found images and videos of the boy, as well as videos and images of another minor, on Zottoli's computer. After his arrest in April 2013, Zottoli admitted to producing child pornography.

Zottoli was previously convicted of possession of child pornography in 2000 in the Eastern District of Virginia. He was sentenced to serve 30 months in prison for that conviction.

As a result of his prior conviction, Zottoli was subject to an increased mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years in prison during Friday's sentencing.

After he's released from prison, Zottoli will spend the rest of his life on supervised release.
