In Mount Rainer, a complaint about a mouse infestation at Family Dollar on Queens Chapel Road lead inspectors to close the store citing "chewed food packages" and "ample mouse droppings."
A couple months ago we reported on three other Family Dollar stores ordered closed with rodents on Annapolis Rd, Indian Head Highway, and St. Barnabus Rd.
Last time, and this time, Family Dollar issued the same statement saying "we take matters like this very seriously as the safety and security of our Team Members and customers is our first priority."
At Angel's Carryout on Landover Road in Landover inspectors ordered a closure reporting construction work going on "while food preparation was in progress."
Inside Beltway Plaza Mall, inspectors closed El Taco Rico on Greenbelt Road citing the "presence of live roaches on the wall," "small fruit flies," and "hand washing sinks do not have hot running water."
