Critters For The Cure celebrates 10 years of giving.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9)—Critters For The Cure (CFTC), a women's cancer organization, is hosting a Gala event March 14th to celebrate 10 years of giving.

CFTC provides immediate emergency funds for women in need. They go beyond medical treatment, CFTC extends a hand with financial and emotional assistance.

The organization provides help with unexpected expenses such as: transportation to treatment, massage therapies, groceries, rent, and utilities. CFTC donates 85 percent of every dollar directly to a woman in need.

The event will feature fashions from Bloomingdale's, Bone Bar, Lady Luck Casino and many other highlights. Tickets may be purchased online at crittersforthecure.org or at the door. The event is tomorrow 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton in Gaithersburg, Md.

The event is hosted by WUSA9's Andrea Roane, and WUSA9's Kristen Berset will be among the participants.
