MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA9) -- A man turned himself in to police for allegedly choking a co-worker last month in Manassas.
Prince William County Police say that 30-year-old David Nicholas Rhodes of Woodbridge is charged with malicious wounding and strangulation after turning himself in to authorities on Wednesday.
Rhodes has a court date set for October 27.
Rhodes is accused of getting into a verbal altercation that turned physical in the 12100 block of Livingston Rd in Manassas on August 28th. Police say the Rhodes pushed the victim off of an elevated platform onto the ground. Once on the ground, Rhodes choked the victim, say police. He then fled.
The victim was treated for his injuries at a hospital.
