BROOKLYN, Md. (WUSA9) -- A Baltimore man faces drug charges after police say they seized heroin, marijuana and cash on Friday.
According to Anne Arundel County Police, detectives from Northern District's Tactical Patrol Unit were conducting undercover surveillance in the area of Old Riverside Road and West Meadow Drive on Friday after receiving complaints about drug activity in the area. At approximately 4:30 p.m., detectives saw what appeared to be drug activity occurring in an alleyway, say police officials, and conducted a traffic stop.
As a result of that stop, detectives seized 50 gel capsules of heroin. $3,002 in U.S. currency and a small amount of marijuana.
Additionally, 36-year-old Gregory Latrell Harper was charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of heroin and possession of marijuana, say police.
