In the video, an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City responds to rescue the man whose vessel was approximately 73 miles southeast of Atlantic City on Wednesday. Officials say that the captain of Reel Trouble had contacted watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia at 9:15 a.m. to report that his first mate had suffered a hand injury.
According to officials in a news release, "The helicopter crew arrived on scene at about 10:40 a.m. and lowered a rescue swimmer and rescue basket to the boat." The man was lifted via the basket to the helicopter and flown to Air Station Atlantic City to receive medical care, say officials.
