LAUREL, Md. (WUSA9) -- Construction workers have been ordered to leave the scene of a gas line break in Laurel on Tuesday.
According to Prince George's County Fire Department spokesperson Mark Brady, an underground two-inch, high pressure natural gas line accidentally broke at a construction site in the 14700 block of Baltimore Avenue.
Brady tweets that the release of gas is no danger to the public, however, construction workers have been told to leave the immediate area. They are awaiting the arrival of the gas company.
