ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WTSP/WUSA) -- At 8:00 p.m. Monday a car ended up in a person's swimming pool after two cars collided. It happened in the 400 block of 91st Avenue North in St. Petersburg when a 2003 Mitsubishi was traveling east on 91st Avenue and another car headed southbound on 5th Street.

According to police, the Mitsubishi veered off the roadway into the backyard of the house and into the pool.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, Michael Randolph, had minor injuries. His passenger was not injured nor was the driver of the other car.

Randolph got a ticket for careless driving.
