FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Golden Corral in Frederick County on Monday afternoon.

Members of the Frederick County Bureau of Investigation are investigating the robbery that occurred at approximately 4:58 p.m. Monday at the Golden Corral on Spectrum Drive in Frederick.

According to investigators, the suspect approached an employee at the cash register and asked her to make change. When she opened the register the suspect reached into the cash register, grabbed cash and ran out the door, say investigators.

Deputies searched for the suspect but did not find him.

He was described as a black male wearing a black jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, blue jeans and a black beanie with white striping around the bottom. He was approximately 5'10", 150 pounds and had a beard, according to authorities.
