WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- DC Police are looking for the person or people responsible for stealing a pair of elephant tusks.

The tusks were stolen from the Wilson Building, on 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, between the dates of August 12 and August 27, police said.

Police released a photo of the tusks, that were given to the City of Washington, DC as a gift in 1954, by the Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie I.
