WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police say a 20-year-old man sexually assaulted a 19-year-old girl at an HH Gregg store in Va.

Jaguar Robert Williams-Palmer, 20, of no fixed address, is charged with attempted rape, police say.

On Dec. 13 at 6:13 p.m., police responded to the HH Gregg store located in the 14500 block of Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge, Va. to investigate a sexual assault.

The victim, a 19-year-old girl from Woodbridge, told police that when she and a male acquaintance were walking into the store when an unknown male ran up to them, police say. The man's pants were down to his knees as he approached the victim.

Once close enough, the man picked up the victim and took her to the ground, where he got on top of her, police say. Multiple witnesses intervened to get the man of the victim.

The victim was not injured during the altercation, police say.
