HERNDON, Va. (WUSA9) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a Sunday bank robbery in Virginia.

Fairfax County police say shortly before 3 p.m. a man approached a teller at the PNC Bank located inside the Giant grocery store at 13330 Franklin Farm Road.

The man made a vague threat and demanded money, police say, and an undisclosed amount of cash was handed over. The suspect fled and no one was injured.

The suspect is described by police a white, age 35 to 45, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160 to 180 pounds, with brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket, gray hat, sunglasses and gloves.
