FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Frederick County Sheriff's Office officials are investigating a robbery at a movie theater.

It happened on December 13 at around 5 p.m. at the Regal Westview Stadium 16 on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick.

Police say the suspect approached a theater booth and handed the clerk a note demanding money. The suspect kept his hands in his pockets but implied that he had a gun, investigation revealed.

The clerk complied and the suspect then fled the area on foot, officials said.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, 5'10", slim build with a goatee. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head, black pants, and a black coat.
