WASHINGTON (WUSA9) --More than 100 gallons of paint were dumped down the side of the former NGA Building at The Yards in D.C. on Wednesday.

We're told that The Yards got seven artists to create free-form artwork at the building before it is demolished in 2013 as part of a project called Art Yards.

The artwork on the M Street SE facadeof thebuilding will be done by mid-December. Then it will be demolished in the following months.
