Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will miss at least one game after suffering a mild concussion Monday night during a game against the Utah Jazz.
The Warriors said Tuesday that Curry's only symptom is a mild headache, which had dissipated since he was hurt when Jazz forward Marvin Williams landed on him.
He will miss Wednesday's home game against the Memphis Grizzlies and his status is day-to-day after that, the team said.
Williams -- 6-foot-9 and 240 pounds -- came down on Curry's head with his hip as the two players crashed to the floor in the fourth quarter. Curry walked off the court with 8:50 remaining and didn't return.
"He took a hard spill," Warriors coach Mark Jackson said after the game. "He's got a little headache right now but it could be a lot worse."
Before leaving, Curry scored 15 of his 22 points in a big second quarter. The Warriors won the game 98-87.
