WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- The University of Michigan says the future of driverless cars will soon be here.

The school announced the first fleet of cars that drive themselves will hit the road in Ann Arbor by 2021.

An engineering professor says the move toward driverless vehicles is simple, no more car crashes.
