BALTIMORE (WJZ) - A disabled Baltimore woman is dead after being attacked by her own dog. But this isn't the first time the dog has attacked.
Rochelle Ritchie spoke with neighbors stunned and saddened by her tragic death.
Terry Douglass, 56, is dead after police say her dog mauled her to death. It happened at a home on the 2000 block of E. 30th Street.
Neighbors say her dog, Boosie, is the killer.
"You raise it from when it's young. You never expect something like that to happen," a woman said. "And me having dogs of my own - whether it's pit bulls, German Shepherds or the little shih tzus or anything - I've never experienced nothing like that. It's just sad."
Baltimore City Police say the woman, who was wheelchair bound, died Friday morning.
According to Baltimore City health officials, this isn't the first time the dog has attacked. Last year, the dog bit Douglass and her grandson.
