The Preacher's Mistress/The Thanksgiving House| Lifetime, Hallmark, Saturday, 8 ET/PT

Take two TV movies: In one, a single mother falls in love with a married preacher, whose rich wife dies under mysterious circumstances. In the other, a female lawyer owns a house that a historian claims is located on the site of the first Thanksgiving, setting up legal battles and holiday-themed love. One is on Lifetime; the other is on Hallmark. If I have to tell you which is which, you've never watched a movie on either channel.

Drop Dead Diva| Lifetime, Sunday, 9 ET/PT

On a better Lifetime note, this enjoyable series - which almost died before Season 5 and has now been renewed for Season 6 - ends this year's run. The finale boasts a guest turn byFrasier'sPeri Gilpin, who's coming off a great guest shot onModern Family.

Masters of Sex| Showtime, Sunday, 10 ET/PT

If you've been on the fence aboutMasters, this beautifully done outing may be the one that makes you commit. As befits a show about the first true scientific efforts to understand female sexuality, women dominate this episode, with the most moving performance coming from Allison Janney as a seemingly happy wife who is forced to confront the truth of her marriage. Between her stellar work onMastersandMom,it's becoming ever more clear that there is very little a script can ask of Janney that she can't deliver.
