Edmonton, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - Braden Holtby stopped 30 shots to help the Washington Capitals take a 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.

Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom each posted a goal and an assist while Jason Chimera and Joel Ward also scored for the Capitals, who have won the first two games of a five-game road trip.

Justin Schultz scored the lone goal of the game for the Oilers, who had a two- game winning streak stopped. Devan Dubnyk gave up all four goals on 26 shots in the loss.
