Ypsilanti, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Eastern Michigan University football player Demarius Reed was found dead Friday morning.
Ypsilanti police Detective Sgt. Thomas Eberts told the Ann Arbor News that police believe the cause of death to be a gunshot wound. Reed was discovered dead in a hallway of an apartment complex around 7:15 a.m. ET.
The junior wide receiver caught 15 passes for 181 yards and a touchdown in six games this season.
