(USA Today) --Every day it seems Justin Bieber does something to make the people who can't stand him loathe him just a little bit more. Today, Bieber-loathers are hooting again.
Gossip websites posted pictures of the Bieb being carried on his bodyguards' shoulders onto the Great Wall of China, where he is on tour.
"Just when you thought Justin Bieber's ego couldn't get any more out of control, he gets snapped being carried up the Great Wall of China by his bodyguards," chortled Yahoo.com.
"Wanting to survey the land from atop the Great Wall but not wanting to tire himself out walking up a few steps, His Royal Swagginess instead ordered his bodyguards to carry him up on their shoulders," sneered Gawker. "They say his sense of entitlement was visible from space."
What seemed to set off the Bieber critics was the sense that the pop star had not learned anything from a recent scolding he got from Zach Galifianakis during an interview on the latter's online Funny or Die series Between Two Ferns.
Galifianakis confronted Bieber last week with all of his bad/foolish/inexplicable behavior of the past few months, including smoking pot, urinating in a kitchen bucket and racing his car around his Los Angeles neighborhood. Then he took off his belt and spanked Bieber, who did not look happy.
Bieber might need another whipping from Galifianakis, Gawker crowed, "because it seems like that little punk hasn't learned anything. Anything."
Maybe there's an explanation from the Bieber camp about why he had to see one of the wonders of the world from atop his employees' shoulders, but so far, nothing. And don't hold your breath.
