UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- Jason Scott, charged with killing Delores Dewittand her 20-year-old daughter, Ebony,is scheduled to appear in court in Upper Marlboro Wednesday afternoon. We are told he is expected to plead guilty to charges.

In February,a judge declared that the case was a mistrial.A detective was on the stand and declared that Scott was allegedly involved in multiple home invasions but only one home invasion was admissible per the judge's earlier ruling.

The judge scheduled a re-trial, with the new jury to be chosen on Oct. 15 and a new trialto begin on Oct. 21.

Scott, a former UPS worker, was already sentenced in January 2012 to 100 years in prison for dozens of armed home invasions and burglaries in Maryland.

The bodies of Deloresand Ebony Dewittwere found inside a burning car in Largo in March 2009.
