(USA TODAY) -- Given the choice of being president or grandma, which would Hillary Rodham Clinton choose?
"If you ask her, I think she'd say grandmother, but I have found it best not to discuss that issue," former President Bill Clinton said Tuesday on CBS' This Morning program. "My goal is to be a grandfather. The rest is out of my hands."
There's lots of interest these days in whether Hillary Clinton will seek the presidency again in 2016. For the first time, she publicly acknowledged in an interview with New York magazine that she's struggling with the idea.
Bill Clinton has maintained he doesn't know what she'll do, and insists the Clintons aren't consumed by talking about a White House campaign.
"We're not nearly as political as everyone thinks we are," the former president said in an interview that aired Monday night on PBS Newshour. "We don't sit around all the time talking about this. We swim in the late afternoon every day. And if either one of us even mentions a political topic, we will stop the other one and just talk about the weather or whatever."
