(WUSA9) -- Coming up on Petline 9 at noon on Thursday, Prince George's County SPCA will bring in Polo.

Polo is a 3 or 4-year-old male Chihuaha. He weights about 11 pounds. He is house and crate trained

Polo was found as a stray in the county and taken to the shelter. He then was happy to be admitted toa foster program. He instantly liked his foster brother, also a chihuahua, says his foster family. Polo settled quickly into the house routine and has proven to be an amiable companion.

Poloenjoys exploring in the yard and prances about like a little deer, says his foster family. He is very fast!

His foster family says Polocan be a little skittish at times. It seems his life may have been hard before -- he has a scar on this back from an old injury. No one is sure how he got the injury.

Other things about Polo: he's good with dogs, but it's unknown how he does with cats; he needs to be tested to find out how well he interacts with children; he barks when left alone at first then settles down; he would be okay for a townhome or apartment.

If you are ready to give Polo lots of love and attention and are looking for a cute little friend to complete your life, the PGSCPA know by filling out a (no obligation) adoption application:
